In preparation of this career, Ms. Callender first earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Utah in 1985. She continued at the University of Redlands to earn a Master of Arts in management. From there, she supplemented her studies with an Associate of Arts in Computer Systems Analysis from the University of Maryland College of Europe. Always committed to her education, she earned a second master’s degree in computer science, geology and GIS certification from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Ms. Callender maintains affiliation with the American Association of Geographers, the American Geophysical Union and the American Meteorological Society. Ms. Callender is a member of The International Women’s Leadership Association and a Distinguished Delegate honored for continued contribution to the field of physical science.
